What times are the service?
We have Life-Classes that meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 am, followed by a worship service every Sunday morning at 10:30am. The Sunday morning service lasts about an hour and a half. On Sunday nights, we either have a worship service at 6 pm, or Connect Groups that meet at various locations. We also have a mid-week Bible Study, youth service, and children’s service every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm. We’d encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early, especially if you have young children, to give you plenty of time to get your children checked in at one of our easy to use computerized check in stations
How should I dress?
We want you to feel comfortable. Whether you dress casual in shorts or jeans and a T-shirt, or prefer a suit, you are welcome here at Grace Chapel. We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
What are the messages like?
Pastor Jason is a gifted preacher/teacher. He presents in-depth messages that are designed to challenge you to grow in your understanding and knowledge of the Word of God. No subject is off limits here at Grace Chapel as we believe the Word of God is to inform our thinking and understanding in every area of life.
What about the music?
Our Worship Team works hard to lead us into God’s presence through contemporary worship mixed with some of the great hymns and older choruses. We believe in passionate Spirit-led worship. There is freedom to sing, clap, raise hands, and respond to the moving of the Holy Spirit. It is not unusual to witness the gifts of the Spirit in operation; after all, we believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to operate in the church today.
What is available for my kids?
Nursery is available for all services. It is for children 0-3. Our nursery is staffed with screened, qualified workers who love children, and strive to make the nursery a fun and loving atmosphere, while teaching the children about Jesus.
We have Life-Classes for all age groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. We also have a children’s church for ages 3-5 that meet at 10:30 am. These services are led by screened and qualified volunteers that are managed by our children’s director.
Grace Kids is the children's ministry of Grace Chapel. Kids ages 6-12 will enjoy worship, followed by Bible teaching every Sunday morning, and Wednesday night. On Wednesday nights, there is also a time when the kids will be broken into smaller groups, usually by age and gender and taught life skills, such as sewing, camping etc., as well as ministry skills such as drama, singing, media, etc.
Parents will need to check children in before each service, and check them out after service.
Do you have something for teens?
Anchor Student Ministries is the youth ministry at Grace Chapel. Anchor Student Ministries meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm and includes Middle and High School students. Activities include a weekly service, monthly outings, yearly retreats, summer camp, and much more.
The core principles that anchor the student ministry include unwavering honor, generosity that is enduring, audacious faith, and biblical doctrine.
Will I be asked to give money?
If you are a guest, or just checking us out to see if you would like to make Grace Chapel your church home, please do not feel any obligation to give. We believe giving is an act of worship wherein those who have a personal relationship with God through Christ give regularly and generously in response to God’s gracious gifts. If you choose to give, you can either give during the time in which the offering is received, or you can give on-line.
